  BEACHLEY
  
    C. Elizabeth "Betty" (Jones) Beachley, 84, of Wormleysburg, died July 1,
  1996, in the Renova Center, Mechanicsburg.  She was the Penn State Home
  Economics Extension representative for Somerset County.  Member of Paxton
  Presbyterian Church, Paxtang; West Shore Rotary Ladies Auxiliary, Daughters
  of the American Revolution, Gamma Phi Beta and the Civic Club of
  Harrisburg.  She was a graduate of Penn State University.  She was born
  Aug. 25, 1911, in Columbia Crossroads, to Harry C. and Edith (Peckham)
  Jones.  Surviving are her husband, Kenneth G. Beachley; a son, Michael E.
  Beachley, M.D., of Pittsburgh; 2 daughters:  Betsy McWilliams of Cleveland,
  Ohio; Ellen B. Jenkins of Dillsburg; a sister, Janet J. Westcott of
  Arlington, Va.; also 9 grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.  Services
  were held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 5, in her church.  Burial was in Paxton
  Churchyard.  Visitation was from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. in the church. 
  Arrangements were handled by the Kimmel Funeral Home, Harrisburg.  Memorial
  contributions may be made to the Library Fund of her church, 3500 Sharon
  St., Harrisburg, Pa.
