CORA ALICE BEACHLEY

  Mrs. Cora Alice Beachley, wife of Noah Beachley, 76, died Saturday morning, at 
her home on Garrett R.D. 1, following an illness for more than a year.
  She was born in Brothersvalley Township, November 15, 1869, a daughter of the 
late Josiah and Lucinda (Hersh) Brant.  She is survived by her husband, one son, 
Nevin Beachley; two daughters, Mrs. Earl Walker, and Mrs. Bruce Lichty; these 
sisters: Mrs. Irvin Brant, Akron, Ohio; Mrs. Clinton Sevits, Berlin R.D., and 
Mrs. Richard Christner, Garrett, and three brothers, George Brant, Friedens, and 
Joseph and Irvin Brant, Somerset R.D. 5.
  Mrs. Beachley was a devoted wife and mother, and will be greatly missed in the 
community in which she lived.
  Funeral services were held Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. in the Beachdale Church of the 
Brethren, with Rev. A. J. Replogle, officiating.  Interment in the church 
cemetery under direction of Johnson & Son.
