Beachy, 57, of Salisbury RD 1, died April 22, 1981 at his home. Born at Grantsville, Md., he was a son of Sam A. and Lydia (Hershberger) Beachy, of Salisbury RD 1. He was a mechanic for Sam Beachy & Sons, a member of Friendship Haven Chapel in Cumberland, Md. and the Gideons and Mountain Anthems in West Salisbury. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his widow, Lena (Tice) Beachy; one son, Robert S. Beachy, of Hyndman; four daughters, Mrs. Miriam E. Miller, Hyndman; Mrs. Lois E. Yoder, of Salisbury; Mrs. Martha J. Ackerman, of Meyersdale; and Mrs. Judith E. Kemerer of Pittsburgh; two brothers, Menno S. Beachy and Sam Beachy Jr., both of Salisbury; two sisters, Mrs. Elva Yoder of Manassas, Va., and Miss Fannie Beachy of Salisbury; and 11 grandchildren. Friends were received at the Newman Funeral Home in Grantsville. Services were held at the Mountain View Christian Fellowship, West Salisbury, with the Rev. Noah Yoder and the Rev.
