Born May 16, 1912, in Summit Township, daughter of the late Menno J. and Mary J. (Tice) Yoder. She was a member of Maple Glenn Mennonite Church. Survivors include her husband, Milton J. Beachy, whom she married May 12, 1932; one son, Allen Menno Beachy, Lincoln, Del.; two daughters: Jennie Encarnacion, Sarasota, Fla.; and Bertha June Beachy, Manassas, Va.; and one foster daughter, Carmen Rivera, Norfolk, Va.; two brothers: Sam Yoder and Simon Yoder, both of Meyersdale; three sisters: Annie Yoder and Sarah Yoder, both of Meyersdale; Lydia Yoder, Grantsville, Md; 10 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren. Four children preceded her in death. Friends will be received at the Newman Funeral Home, Grantsville, Md., Thursday 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Services will be conducted Friday 1:30 p.m. at Maple Glenn Church with the Rev. Ivan J. Maust.
