Born Jan. 21, 1929, in Fort Hill. Preceded in death by father, Russell Beachy; and brother, Paul. Survived by mother, Mabel McClintock Beachy; wife, Martha Pyle, whom he married on July 11, 1954; sons, Mark Beachy of Warren, Ohio; and Paul Beachy, at home; daughter, Mrs. Michael (Barbara) Caldwell of Newton Falls, Ohio; brother, Gary Beachy of Largetown, Ohio; sisters, Mrs. Ray (Thelma) Brown of Bristolville, Ohio; Mrs. Naomi Perkins of Massilon, Ohio; and Mrs. Dorothy Plume of Fort Hill; and step-brother, Robert Fike of Fort Hill. He had resided in Warren for 34 years, was retired from Packard Electric, where he was employed for 31 years, was a member of Silbaugh United Methodist Church of Fort Hill, and manager and umpire of the Little League Baseball in Champion, Ohio. He enjoyed fishing and other sports and was a veteran of the U.S. Army, Korean Conflict. Friends received 7-9 p.m. Friday at Carl W. Hall Funeral Home, Warren, Ohio, where services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. Interment, Champion Twp. Cemetery. Daily American, January 22, 1987 [B0724]
