      Ernest Ray Beachy, 90 of Grantsville, MD, died Wednesday, June 27,
  2007, at Goodwill Mennonite Home, Grantsville.
      He was born November 1, 1916, in Bittinger, MD, the son of the late
  Simon and Katie (Bender) Beachy. He was also 
  preceded in death by his wife, Violet (Miller) Beachy.
      He is survived by a son, Leo D. Beachy, Grantsville, and a daughter,
  Winifred L. Vought, Friedens; six grandchildren 
  and 16 great grandchildren.
      Mr. Beachy was a stone mason for Beal Masonry and a member of the
  Mennonite Church. He enjoyed bowling and 
  attending his grandchildren's baseball games.
      Friends were received at Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 179 Miller St.,
  Grantsville. Services were conducted in the 
  funeral home with the Rev. Casey Rohrer officiating. Interment was in the
  Grantsville Cemetery.
