  JOHN C. BEACHY
  
    John C. Beachy, 72, of Swanton RD 2, Md., died January 11, 1980 in
  Garrett County Memorial Hospital.
    Born December 9, 1907, in Accident, Md., he was a son of the late Silas
  Beachy and Mary Alice (Bowser) Beachy.
    He was a farmer and a member of the North Glad United Methodist Church.
    He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Bernice (Custer) Beachy; two sons,
  Harland Beachy, Swanton; John N. Beachy, Baltimore, Md.; two daughters,
  Mrs. Fern Lee, Baltimore; Mrs. Jean Wright, Swanton; one brother, Fred
  Beachy, Oakland, MD; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Raley, Flintstone; Mrs. Martha
  Emory, Bittinger, Md.; 15 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
    Friends were received at the John O. Durst Funeral Home. Services were
  conducted in Otterbein United Methodist Church, Swanton, by the Rev. Ellis
  Harvey.  Interment was in Garrett County Memorial Gardens.
