  BEACHY
  
    Marion S. "Bette" Beachy, 74, of Somerset RD 3 died Sept. 13, 1995, in
  Montefiore Hospital, Pittsburgh.  Born July 30, 1921, in Ligonier, daughter
  of the late Charles M. and Marin Rebecca (Hartman) Shoup.  Preceded in death
  by her husband, Wilbert H. Beachy Jr., June 6, 1992.  Survived by her son,
  Wilbert H. Beachy III, married to the former Linda Paul, Somerset, and
  daughter, Esme B. Laubscher, wife of Paul R., New York, N.Y., and these
  grandchildren:  Jennifer Lynn Beachy, Laura Elizabeth Beachy, Wilbert H.
  Beachy IV, all of Somerset; and grandson, Luke R., Laubscher, N.Y.; one
  sister, Ruthe S. Herre of Camp Hill.  Member of Trinity Lutheran Church,
  attended Chatham College, Pittsburgh, and Wittenberg University,
  Springfield, Ohio.  Graduated from The Levitan School, Philadelphia.  Past
  president of Somerset Music Club and past vice president of Somerset
  Welfare League.  A retired school teacher.  At her request, no visitation
  and no flowers.  Memorial service at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Robert H.
  Halverson Funeral Home, Rev. Robert L. Hoover Jr. and Rev. Roger Forry
  officiating.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to "In Touch"
  Hospice Program, 651 South Center Ave., Somerset, Pa. 15501.
