  MORRIS E. "COON" BEACHY
  
    Morris Elwood "Coon" Beachy, 77, of Grantsville RD 2, Md., died Tuesday,
  July 18, 1989, at the Meyersdale Manor Nursing Home.
    Born Feb. 26, 1912, in Grantville, Md., he was the son of the late Elmer
  J. and Althea (Otto) Beachy.
    He was a retired farmer and a member of the Trinity United Church of
  Christ and Woodsmen of the World Camp 41.  He was a past member of the
  Garrett County Farm Bureau.
    Surviving are his widow, Mildred E. (Michael) Beachy; two daughters, Mrs.
  Zane Dotson, Anchorage, Alaska; and Mrs. Kay Platter, Sierra Vista, Ariz.;
  one brother, Ellsworth Beachy, Grantsville, Md.; two sisters, Mrs. Gladys
  Warnick, Baltimore, Md.; and Mrs. Maxine Broadwater, Grantsville, Md.; and
  two grandchildren.
    Friends were received at the Newman Funeral Home, Grantsville, where
  services were conducted Friday at 2 p.m. at the Trinity United Church of
  Christ by the Rev. Jay Shaffer.  Interment, Trinity Cemetery.
