Beachy, 72, of 13204 Second Street, Cresaptown, Md., died Tuesday, Feb. 18, 1986, at Sacred Heart Hospital, Cumberland, Md. He was born March 27, 1913 in Bittinger, Md., son of the late Oliver G. Beachy and Arletta (Thomas) Beachy. He was a retired Baltimore and Ohio Railroad brakeman. He was a member of the Brotherhood of Railway Trainmen, the Cresaptown Fraternal Order of Eagles, and Lodge 40, Fraternal Order of Police. His wife, Mrs. Agnes (Garlitz) Beachy, died June 1, 1981 Surviving are five sons: Edwin R. Beachy, Annapolis, Md.; Darrell J. Beachy, Mechanicsville, Md.; Francis L. Beachy, Woodbridge, Va.; Kenneth J. Beachy, Keyser, W.Va.; Randall W. Beachy, Ridge, Md.; one daughter, Mrs. Theresa Tysinger, Ridgeley, W. Va.; two sisters, Mrs. Alma Kinsinger, Grantsville, Md.; Mrs. Mae Kelso, Akron, Ohio; two brothers, Charles Beachy, Clarysville, Md.; Edison Beachy, LaVale,; 17 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Friends were received at the Hafer Chapel of the Hills Mortuary. Services were conducted Friday at 1 p.m. by the Rev. Raymond McCoy. Interment, St. Ann's Cemetery, Avilton.
