Beachy, 66, Confluence, died April 6, 2004, at Somerset Hospital. He was born June 25, 1937, in Fort Hill, a son of the late Urner and Annie L. (McClintock) Beachy. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a brother Raymond and a sister, Edith Hetrick. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Marjorie (Romesburg) Beachy, a son David E. and his wife Beth of Harrisburg; daughters, Pamela Margroff and husband Kevin, Accident Md., and Sandra Clark and husband Daniel of Martinsburg; four grandchildren: Ben and Kraig Margroff and Abigail and Adrienne Clark and brothers, Glenn and Clarence both of Confluence and Galen of Fort Hill. He was a member of Silbaugh United Methodist Church, where he taught Sunday school and served as treasurer. He was an avid outdoorsman. He was semi-retired, from Keystone Lime Co. where he worked for 39 years. While at Keystone, among other duties, he hauled lime and was a construction superintendent. Friends will be received from 2 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Humbert Funeral Home, Confluence, where service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday. The Rev. Dane Cramer and the Rev. Harry Sherry officiating.
