He was born July 3, 1894, in Bittinger, Md., a son of the late John L. and Ida (Peck) Beachy. He was preceded in death by his wife, Laura (McClintock) Beachy, two sons and three sisters. He is survived by three daughters; Mrs. Lenora Lytle of Markleysburg, Mrs. Helen Livengood of Fort Hill and Mrs. Janet Whaley of Confluence; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters: Mrs. Grace Younkin of Grafton, W.Va., and Mrs. Mary Minchell of Confluence; also a brother, Russell Beachy of Fort Hill; veteran of World War I. Friends were received at the Humbert Funeral Home in Confluence, where services were held with the Rev. Raymond Schermerhorn officiating. Interment, Silbaugh Cemetery.
