Born May 18, 1917, in Riverside, Johnstown, daughter of Harvey and Annie Matilda (Keafer) Alwine. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Earl J. Sr., Nov. 2, 1966; sons, Earl Jr. and Dennis G. Beahr; grandsons, David Earl Beahr and Wade Allen Beahr; great-granddaughter, Hannah Beahr, great-great-grandson, Carter Barnick; sisters, Mildred Woy, Flornel Forsyth, Mary Grace Horner and Olive Adams; and brothers, Wayne, Emil and Clyde Alwine. Survived by children, Annie Mae, married to Charles Gindlesperger, and Theodore "Ted" L., married to Lucille Donitzen, both of Jenner Township; Patricia L. married to James Wilhelm, Chambersburg; Delbert and Robert, both at home; and Martha G., married to Robert Barnick, Jenner Township; 24 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; two great-great- grandchildren; and brother Harold Alwine, Chambersburg. Member of Laurel Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Jennerstown, where she served on church council for several terms and was a member of the WELCA. Also a member of the Ferndale Sportsmen Club and Jenner Community Sportsmen where she served as treasurer for many years. Retired employee of the former Pennsylvania State Rehabilitation Center, Goucher Street, Johnstown, with 10 years of service. Loved hunting and fly fishing. Viewing from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Main St., Boswell. Viewing also from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Thursday at Laurel Trinity Church. The Rev. Jacquelyn S. Ahern officiating. Interment Mount Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Jenner Township.
