  BEATRICE MARIE BEAL
  
  Beatrice Marie Beal, 94, formerly of Boynton, died Thursday, April 29, 2004, at 
  the home of her daughter in Meyersdale.  Born May 24, 1909, in Boynton, she was a 
  daughter of the late James and Ellen (Holler) Critchfield.  She was preceded in 
  death by her husband, Clyde E. Beal, Nov. 13, 1992, and three brothers, Claude, 
  Kenneth and Paul Critchfield.  Surviving are her daughter, Joanne R. Murray and 
  husband, William M., Meyersdale; her grandson, Brent Murray and wife, Christi, 
  Mt. Holly, N.J.; two great-granddaughters, Leah and Erin Murray; one sister, 
  Doretta Jones and husband, Robert, Rockwood; and two sisters-in-law, Gladys 
  Critchfield, Grantsville, Md., and Helen Critchfield, Boynton.  Graduated from 
  Salisbury High School and California (Pa.) University with a teaching degree.  
  Taught at Boynton and Crossroads Schools prior to her marriage.  Member of St.  
  John's United Church of Christ and Queen Esther Bible Class.  Friends will be 
  received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Newman Funeral Home Inc., 9168 
  Mason-Dixon Highway, Salisbury, where services will be conducted on Saturday at 
  11 a.m. with the Rev. Randy Haulk officiating.  Interment, Salisbury Cemetery.
