  BEAL
  
  Beatrice V. Beal, 67, Somerset, formerly of New Florence, died Sept. 8,
  1987, in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh.  Born July 27, 1920, in
  South Fork, daughter of the late William J. and Anna Sloan (Thatcher)
  Haman.  Also preceded by husband, Russell L. Beal; four brothers:  Russell,
  Robert, Charles and Jack; and a sister, Virginia Gillen.  Survived by these
  children:  Mrs. Sally Miller, Somerset; Jack R. Beal, Albuquerque, New
  Mexico; Mrs. Carol L. Callihan, Erie; Mrs. Shirley J. Reilly, Gaithersburg,
  Md.; and Ms. Linda L. Beal, McLean, Va.; 11 grandchildren and one
  great-grandson.  Sister of:  Raymond, Saint Michael, Pa.; William,
  Noonachie, N.J.; Mrs. Sarah Glass, Johnstown; and Mrs. Shirley Doyle,
  Fairborn, Ohio.  Member of New Florence United Methodist Church and the
  United Methodist Missionaries.  Friends will be received 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
  Thursday (today) at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home where service will be
  held Friday at 10 a.m. with Rev. Joseph M. Beer officiating.  Interment,
  West Fairfield Cemetery.  Family suggests memorial contributions be given
  to the Children's Aid Society of Somerset.
