DANIEL BEAL

  Daniel Beal, a son of Simeon and Levina Beal, died Wednesday, Nov. 24.  He is 
survived by his wife, Lydia; two sons, Walter and Samuel of Meyersdale; two 
daughters, Mrs. Clarence Modispaw and Mrs. Charles Lung, Meyersdale; one adopted 
son, Albert, of Salisbury; 15 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, and by 
three sisters and three brothers.
  Funeral services were held at the home on North Street, Friday afternoon, the 
Rev. L. Virgilio of Washington, D.C., officiating, assisted by Daniel Gray of 
Meyersdale.  Funeral and burial arrangements were in charge of H. R. Konhaus, 
mortician, Meyersdale.
