  Edith (Shaulis) Beal, 86, Presbyterian Home, Johnstown Township, died July
  22, 1987, at the home.  Born May 21, 1901, in Jenner Township, daughter of
  Lemon and Anna (Griffith) Shaulis.  Preceded in death by parents; husband,
  Paul; sisters:  Mary Enoch and Mabel Gashaw.  Survived by brother, Homer G.
  Shaulis Sr., married to the former Lois Phillippi, Boswell RD 3; niece,
  Dorothy Heiple; nephews:  Dr. Wayne Shaulis and H. G. Shaulis Jr.; also
  numerous grandnieces and grandnephews.  Member of Faith United Methodist
  Church, Glessner Road, Johnstown RD 7, and Johnstown RD 7, and Johnstown
  Garden Club.  Friends received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at Hoffman
  Funeral Home, Allegheny Street, Boswell, where service will be held at 11
  a.m. Saturday, with the Rev. William N. Headley officiating.  Interment,
  Somerset County Memorial Park.  Memorial contributions to Faith United
  Methodist Church would be appreciated.
