  BEAL
  
    George M. Beal, 71, Augusta, Ga., formerly of Meyersdale, died Dec. 9,
  1996 in Augusta Regional Hospital.  Born Jan. 29, 1925, in Meyersdale, a
  son of the late George W. and Myrtle (Miller) Beal.  Survived by his widow,
  Mabel V. (Crissinger) Beal, and these children:  Walter Beal, Paul Beal and
  Delores Hotchkiss, all of Meyersdale; three stepchildren: George F. Meyers,
  Hephzibah, Ga.; Blaine E. Meyers, Grovetown, Ga.; and Ada Brehm, Flower
  Mount, Texas; 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.  Sister, Betty
  Flaherty, Pompano Beach, Fla.  Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m.
  Friday at the Leckemby Funeral Home, where service will be at 11 a.m.
  Saturday with Pastor William Davis officiating. Interment, Union Cemetery.
