  BEAL
  
  Rev. William C. Beal, 72, of Scottdale, Star Route, died Sunday evening in
  the Frick Community Hospital at Mt. Pleasant, born March 10, 1905 at
  Woodale.  He was a retired United Methodist Minister ordained in 1944 and
  retiring in 1968.  He served pastorate in the Indian Creek Valley,
  Jennerstown, and the East Connellsville-Pennsville charge.  In his
  retirement he held membership in the Paradise United Methodist Church. 
  Surviving is his wife Gladys Spaugy Beal; one son Rev. William C. Beal Jr.
  from Lake Junaluska N.C.; two grand children; two brothers, Oliver of
  Connellsville RD 2 and Lloyd of Mt. Pleasant RD 2; four sisters Mrs. Nora
  Wilson, Mrs. Elizabeth Daniels, Mrs. Mary Basinger and Jane Hepler all of
  Mt. Pleasant RD 2.  Friends will be received from 9 to 7 (today) and 2 to 4
  and 7 to 9 Wednesday at the Brooks Funeral Home Incorporated, 111 East Green
  St., Connellsville, where services will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. Rev.
  Melroy Wirick and Dr. Clyde Dietich officiating.  Interment, Greenlick
  Cemetery.
