All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/somerset/ ________________________________________________ EDWIN BEALE Edwin Beale, aged 59, a former music instructor in Somerset, Meyersdale and other Somerset County communities, died of a paralytic stroke in Washington, D.C., last Saturday morning. Mr. Beale several years ago resided in Somerset where he taught music on many instruments. He was also the leader of an orchestra. Since leaving Somerset, he had been living in Ohio and Washington, D.C. His body arrived at the home of his father-in-law, D. S. Cupp, of Casselman, Sunday evening, and was prepared for burial by Undertakers Mills and Mickey of Rockwood. In addition to his wife, Mr. Beale is survived by a son, Donald, and a sister, Mrs. Orvan Thorpe of Verona, and three brothers: Norman, of Ursina, James and Albert, of St. Mary, West Virginia. Funeral services were conducted at the home of D. S. Cupp, Monday afternoon, by Rev. J. Miller of Johnstown. Interment was made in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery at Rockwood.
