  KARL E. BEALE
  
    Karl E. Beale, 73, 503 Glenwood Ave., died Jan. 4, 1979, at Lee
  Hospital.  He was born Jan. 28, 1905, in Meyersdale, son of Wilson Clarence
  and Armatha (Lint) Beale.  He was preceded in death by parents.
    He is survived by widow, former Gertrude Cobaugh, and these children: 
  Noel K., married to former Virginia Davis, Berwyn; Stephanie K., wife of
  Douglas Miller, La Jolla, Calif.; and Gregory K., married to former Linda
  C. Rice, Boswell; also four grandchildren:  Kimberly Beale, Leslie Davies,
  Heather and Chad Beale.  He was a brother of Mrs. Leora Easton and Mrs.
  Almeda Frank, both of Johnstown.  He was a member of Moxham Lutheran
  Church, Johnstown Lions Club (past president), Lutheran Men's Bowling
  League.  He was a graduate of University of Pittsburgh Pharmacy School and
  was employee of Vale Chemical Co., Allentown.
    Friends were received at John Henderson Co. Funeral Home, where service
  was held with the Rev. Vernon Miller and the Rev. Vernon Miller and the
  Rev. Kenneth Hershey officiating.
    In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to leukemia Society of
  America, 717 Liberty Ave., Pittsburgh, Pa. 15222.
