  Carolyn J. Beals, 74, Confluence, died Sept. 13, 2006, in Somerset Hospital.
  She was born July 9, 1932, in Tulsa, Okla., a daughter of Mardell (Wells)
  Snively, Confluence, and the late Willis H. Snively. She is pre-ceded in death
  by a son, Donald Beals and a daughter Connie Beals. She is survived by her
  mother; sons, Ronald and wife Carlene, and Mark and wife Kathy, all of
  Confluence; four grandchildren, Ronica and Chad Beals, Stacy Morris and Shaun
  Beals; two great-granddaughters, Bailey and Allison Morris; brother, Russell
  Snively and wife Terri, West Palm Beach, Fla.; and two nieces, Kelli and Kim
  Snively. She owned and operated Beals Personal Care Home in Confluence for 30
  years and was a member of the Confluence Ambulance Association, Confluence
  Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, and the Confluence Tourism
  Association. Friends will be received from 4 until 9 p.m. Friday at the Humbert
  Funeral Home, Confluence, where a service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday. The
  Rev. Dean Hay Jr. officiating. Interment Jersey Cemetery. Family suggests
  memorial contributions to Confluence Ambulance Association, 618 Oden St.,
  Confluence PA, 15424.
