  BEAM
  
  Frances L. Beam, 58, of Somerset RD 3 died Feb. 21 in Somerset Community
  Hospital.  Born July 6, 1915 in Johnstown, a daughter of the late Joseph
  and Frances Melter Skidel.  She is survived by her stepmother, Mrs. Hilda
  Skidel of Johnstown and husband, Mesheck Beam.  Also by the following
  brothers and sisters, Mrs. Frank (Josephine) Hody, Lewis Skidel and Mrs.
  Clyde (Alice) Burk, all of Johnstown; Mrs. Charles (Ann) Coyle of
  Davidsville and Stanley Skidel of Seward.  Member of Betheny [sic] United
  Methodist Church.  Friends received at the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home
  Saturday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.  Funeral services Sunday at 2
  p.m. with the Rev. Paul Scruton officiating.  Interment Betheny Cemetery. 
  Family requests in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Betheny United
  Methodist Church.
