  BEAM
  
    Henry J. Beam, 78, Somerset RD 6, was dead on arrival at Somerset
  Community Hospital, March 28, 1983.  Born March 10, 1905, in Somerset
  Township, a son of the late Charles I. and Elizabeth (Barron) Beam.  Also
  preceded in death by a brother.  Survived by wife, the former Bessie P.
  Durst; and these children:  Mrs. Andrew (Leoma) Stern, Friedens RD 1; Mrs.
  Mary Jane Lichty, Somerset; Milton C., Somerset RD 6; seven grandchildren
  and one great-grandchild.  Member of Samuel's Lutheran Church.  A retired
  trucker and mine operator.  Friends will be receive from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday
  and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home, where
  services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, with the Rev. Gregory Pile
  officiating.  Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.
