  MRS. MARY J. BEAM
  
    Mrs. Mary J. Gibson Beam, 83, Somerset, died Sept. 2 in Berlin.  She was
  born in Grantsville January 20, 1891, the daughter of the late Josiah W.
  and Nancy Cramer Durst.  She was preceded in death by her first husband,
  Robert H. Gibson, and by her second husband, Morton H. Beam.
    She is survived by two children:, Harry W. Gibson, Stoystown RD 3, and
  Mrs. Guy (Bessie) Reed of St. Petersburg, Fla.; nine grandchildren, 18
  great-grandchildren and one brother, Arthur J. Durst, Somerset; two
  sisters, Mrs. Anna Benson, Connellsville, and Mrs. Abraham Ross Boynton;
  two stepsisters, Mrs. Dewey Keyser, Boswell, and Mrs. Alta Barnhart,
  Florida, and a stepbrother, Solomon Durst, Boswell.
    She was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Shanksville and the
  Fellowship Club of Trinity Lutheran Church, Somerset.
    Services were conducted at the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home Sept. 5,
  the Rev. Charles Staub officiating.  Interment in the Husband Cemetery.
