  BEAM
  
    Pierce Beam, 105, from Berlin, Md., died May 9, 1977 Salisbury, Md.
  Hospital.  Born in Somerset County Feb. 11, 1872.  He was the son of Joseph
  and Sarah (Ream) Beam.  Preceded in death by the former Della Nichols; also
  five brothers and two sisters.  Survived by a foster son, John Dickson,
  Berlin RD 1, Md.; seven grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and several
  nieces and nephews.  Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday
  afternoon at the Burbage Funeral Home, Berlin, Md.  Interment, Riverside
  Cemetery.  Pastor is Rev. Ford.
