  BEAMER, Elizabeth S. (Bebe) 08/12/06 Daily American 
  
   Elizabeth S. "Bebe" Beamer, 86, Broad Street, Bedford, died Aug. 11, 2006, at
  UPMC Bedford Memorial Hospital. She was born July 18, 1920, in Meyersdale, the
  daughter of the late Fulton N. and Katheryn (Leonard) Shipley. On Sept. 19,
  1949, in Meyersdale she married Henry J. Beamer and he pre-ceded her in death
  on April 18, 2000. She was also preceded in death by a sister Katheryn Walker
  and a brother Thomas Shipley. She is survived by four children: Mary Katheryn
  Bryan, Lenexa, Kan.; H. John Beamer, Bedford; Elizabeth Ann, wife of Thomas P.
  Warner, Lancaster; Martha Lee Beamer, Pittsburgh; eight grandchildren and seven
  great-grandchildren. Mrs. Beamer was a member of Bedford Trinity Lutheran
  Church. She was active with the Pa. Maple Festival in Meyersdale and was
  involved with the Girl Scouts in Meyersdale, was a member of the Bedford
  Hospital Auxiliary and enjoyed playing bridge. She was a 1942 graduate of
  Chatam College in Pittsburgh and she taught school in Meyersdale until the end
  of World War II. After that she substituted until moving to Bedford in 1976.
  Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Timothy A.
  Berkebile Funeral Home in Bedford. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m.
  Monday at the Bedford Trinity Lutheran Church with the Rev. Raymond E. Short
  officiating. Interment, Union Cemetery in Meyersdale. Those wishing may make
  contributions to the Trinity Lutheran Church Building Renovation Fund, 106 W.
  Penn St., Bedford or the American Cancer Society, Keystone Professional
  Building, 3759 Business Route 220 Suite 202, Bedford, PA 15522 in her memory.

   Elizabeth S. "Bebe" Beamer, 86 of Broad St., Bedford, died Friday, August 11,
  2006 at UPMC Bedford Memorial Hospital. 
   She was born July 18, 1920 in Meyersdale, daughter of the late Fulton N. and
  Katheryn (Leonard) Shipley.    On September 19, 1949 in Meyersdale, she
  married Henry J. Beamer and he preceded her in death on April 18, 2000.
   She was preceded in death by a sister, Katheryn Walker and a brother, Thomas
  Shipley.
   She is survived by four children: Mary Katheryn Bryan, Lenexa, KS; H. John
  Beamer, Bedford; Elizabeth Ann wife of Thomas P. Warner, Lancaster; Martha Lee

   Funeral Services were held Monday at 11:00 AM at the Bedford Trinity Lutheran
  Church with Pastor Raymond E. Short officiating. Burial in the Union Cemetery in
  Meyersdale. 
   Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, Bedford was in charge of arrangements.
