Born June 4, 1931, in Somerset, the son of Leroy and Margaret (Riley) Beck. Married Nov. 18, 1950, to the former Shirley Leider in Cumberland, Md. Veteran of the Korean War, serving in both the U.S. Army and Navy. Member of Geneva VFW Post 6846, serving as treasurer; Geneva Eagles Aerie 2243; Army and Navy Club of Ashtabula, Ohio. Survived by his wife; mother, Margaret Beck of Ambridge; three sons: Harry of Somerset, Earl Jr. of Geneva and Brian, at home; one sister, Pauline Bailey of Las Vegas, Nev., and three grandchildren. Preceded in death by father. Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Monday from the Kennedy-Hunt Funeral home, 323 South Broadway, Geneva. Burial will take place in Evergreen Cemetery, Geneva.
