  BECK
  
  Edward R. Beck, 79, of Denville, N.J., formerly of Canton, Ohio and
  Meyersdale, died Sept. 15, 1979, in Dover, N.J.  Born Jan. 26, 1900, in
  Somerset County, a son of the late Hiram and Amanda (Mason) Beck.  Survived
  by his wife, the former Mae Evora Martin, and a daughter, Mrs. Alice Jane
  Belcher of Denville, N.J.  A Somerset County farmer for 30 years, he worked
  at Republic Steel in Canton, Ohio an additional 30 years and then retired. 
  Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday at the Price Funeral
  Home, Meyersdale, where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday with
  the Rev. Lloyd Sechriest officiating.  Interment, Union Cemetery.
