  Elsie Mabel Beck, 79, of Kent, Ohio, died Jan. 15, 1989.  Born in Somerset
  July 8, 1909, daughter of the late Irvin and Lucille Brendle.  Survived by
  sons:  Roy and James of Kent, Donald of North Carolina, and Carl of
  Georgia; daughters, Louella Wolford of Streetsboro, Ohio; and Janet Veon of
  Rootstown, Ohio; 24 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren; sister Mrs. Glen
  (Melda) Beistel of Somerset.  Calling hours were held Monday and services 2
  p.m. today at the S.C. Bissler & Sons Funeral Home, Kent.  Burial in Crown
  Hill Cemetery, Twinsburg, Ohio.
