Beck, 78, of 808 Edgewood Drive, Cumberland, died Tuesday, January 14, 1986 at Sacred Heart Hospital, where she had been a patient for two weeks. She had been in ill health for two years. Born in Fort Hill, she was a daughter of the late Wilson W. Warner and Clara (Griffith) Warner. She was a retired employee of the S. T. Little Jewelry Company on Baltimore Street. She was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church, the Lutheran Church Women, and the Woman's Civic Club. of Cumberland. She was preceded in death by two husbands, John L. Bauer in 1957 and Kenneth F. Beck in 1978. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Beverly Bauer, Growdenvale RD 3; one brother, Lawrence E. Warner, Fort Hill; two I. Crock, Cumberland, Md.; Mrs. Iva H. Dridy, Listonburg; and four grandchildren. Friends were received at the Silcox - Merritt Funeral Residence where services were conducted Thursday at 11 a.m. by the Rev. Richard A. Seaks. Interment, Sunset Memorial Park. Pallbearers were Willis V. Crock, John M. Crock, Warren W. Warner, F. Eugene Harris, R. Woodrow Hamilton and Donald G. Shroat. The Republic, January 23, 1986 [B0889]
