  IRENE BECKER
  
    Irene Becker, 67, of Somerset RD 1, died August 18, 1978 at her
  residence.  Born March 12, 1911 in Black Township, she was the
  daughter of Conrad Franklyn and Bertha Jane (Felton) Lape.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, William A.
    She is survived by these children: Robert, Phoenix, Ariz.; Paul of
  Brunswick, Ohio; James of Greencastle RD 2; and seven
  grandchildren.  She was the sister of Clarence Lape, Somerset;
  George, Chambersburg; Melvin of Rockwood; Mrs. Merle (Marie) Weyand,
  Rockwood RD 3; and Mrs. Dean (Blanche) Thompson, Chambersburg.
    She was a member of Milford United Methodist Church.   Friends were
  received at the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Rome, where services were
  held Tuesday at 10:30 a.m., with the Rev. DeWayne Johnson
  officiating.  Interment, St. John's Cemetery.
