Becket, 80, of Russel died Nov. 26, 2002 in St. Vincent Health Center, Erie. Born July 2, 1922 in Confluence. Son of the late Harry and Corda Mae (Vought) Becket. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Ernest Glen. He is survived by his wife Mabel (Bowser) Becket, a son Forrest Douglas Becket of Warren, and a daughter Paulette Elaine LaBarbera of Jamestown, N.Y.; two grandchildren, Braden Rayan Engle, and Christine Elaine Contenza, and two great-grandchildren, Zoe and Taylor. Also brother, Philip R. of Mundy's Corner and David L. of Erie. He was a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of World War II. He was employed by Hunkin-Conkey Construction Co. for 26 years and retired from Pittsburgh-Des Moines Steel following 11 years employment. Friends will be received at the Humbert Funeral Home in Confluence from noon until 4 p.m. Saturday and from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Sunday the hour of service, Rev. David Fetter officiating.
