  BECKETT
  
  Ernest Glen Beckett, 77, New Stanton, died Feb. 25, 2002 at his home.  Born
  March 7, 1924 in Addison Township, son of the late Harry and Corda (Vought)
  Beckett.  Survived by his wife of 55 years, Betty (Reckner) Beckett;  sons,
  Larry and wife Nancy, of Hunker, and Craig and wife Sherri of Ruffsdale; a
  daughter, Lucinda Beckett of Altoona; seven grandchildren, Carrie Vento,
  Sandra, Jessica, Jason Jaclyn, Joshua and Jeremy Beckett; and three
  brothers, Philip of Mundy's corner, Forrest of Russell, and David of
  Erie.  A U.S. Army veteran of World War II.  A member of Confluence V.F.W.
  Post 7250, Monroeville Local 66 Operating Engineers for 55 years, and a
  life member of the Youngwood Sportsmen's Association.  Friends will be
  received from 2 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Humbert Funeral Home,
  Confluence, where service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday with the Rev. Darrell
  Nicklow officiating.  Interment Johnson Chapel Cemetery.  Family suggests
  memorial contributions to Hospice of Greater Pittsburgh, 3520 Route 130,
  Suite 3001, Irwin, Pa., 15642-1498.
