    Blaine B. Beckner, 64, Johnstown, faithful and loving husband, father,
  brother and friend, died Dec. 29, 2000.  Born Feb. 16, 1936 in Somerset
  County, son of Asa R. Sr. and Rebecca (Butler) Beckner.  Preceded in death
  by parents; infant daughter, Cynthia; and brothers Asa R. Jr., Richard D.
  Jack E., and infant brother, Cooper John.  survived by wife of 42 years,
  Ann Bother; children, Kathy A., married to Howard Fry.  Elton; Robert E.,
  married to former Crystal Foltz, Rothsville; and Scott B., Johnstown;
  sister, JoAnn, married to John McDaniel, Somerset; brothers John L., Manns
  Choice, and Gary, married to Bonnie Yutzy, Boswell; grandchildren, Seth W.
  Fry, Elton, and Amy and Erica Foltz, both of Rothsville; sister-in-law,
  Rosie Eline; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.  Member of
  Sipesville Church of the Brethren, Everett American Legion Home Association
  Post 2088 and Harmony Singing Society, where he was knows as the "Egg
  Man."  Retired employee from Shearer Oil Co. and W. Fry and Son.  Friends
  received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at John Henderson Co. Funeral
  Home, 215 Central Ave., Johnstown, where service will be held at 11 a.m. 
  Tuesday.  Father William Rosenbaum and Father George Koharchik presiding. 
  Interment Grandview Cemetery.
