  BECKNER
  
  Budwin E. (Bud) Beckner, 63, of Somerset RD 4, died Nov. 6, 1977, at his
  residence.  born June 28, 1914 in Jefferson Township, the son of the late
  John and Sarah (Kunkel) Beckner.  Preceded in death by his parents, three
  brothers, one sister and one granddaughter.  Survived by his wife, the
  former Goldie Grace, and the following children:  Mrs. Donald (Patsy)
  Schrock, Somerset RD 4; Budwin Jr., Pittsburgh; Larry, Newark, N.J.; Roger,
  Somerset RD 2; and eight grandchildren.  Brother of Mrs. Hallie Miller,
  Somerset; Mrs. Ola McKlveen, Ligonier; and Mrs. Elsie Roberts, Waterford. 
  Member of Somerset Alliance Church, United States Army Veteran of World War
  II, member of American Legion, Donegal; VFW, Somerset.  Friends will be
  received after 7 p.m. Monday at the Wilbur D. Miller Funeral Home, where
  funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, the Rev. James
  Vandervort officiating.  Interment, Bakersville Cemetery.  In lieu of
  flowers, friends are asked to make a contribution to the American Heart
  Association.
