  Helen R. Bednar, 61, Cairnbrook, died March 22, 1989, at West Penn
  Hospital, Pittsburgh, following open heart surgery.  Born Nov. 29, 1927, in
  Cairnbrook, daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Moco) Romus.  Survived by
  beloved husband, Michael, and daughter, Patricia Ann, wife of Victor Foltz,
  Central City; also grandchildren:  Victor III, Michael, Alyssa, Michele and
  Douglas.  Sister of:  Mary Callahan, Joseph and William, all of Hartford,
  Conn.; Penny MacCleery, Deerfield Beach, Fla.; Bertha Dressick, Windber;
  Patricia Ciecura, Hicksville, N.Y.; Frank, Cairnbrook; Rose Kovak,
  Richfield, Ohio; also a number of nieces and nephews.  Former employee of
  Dorfman & Hoffman.  Former owner of the Ferrelton County Market.  Friends
  will be received after 7 p.m. Saturday, and after 2 p.m. Sunday at the
  Mulcahy Funeral Home, Central City, where brief service will be held at 12
  noon Monday, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 12:30 p.m. at St. John
  - the - Baptist Catholic Church, Central City, with the Rev. Lawrence
  Lacovic officiating.  Burial, church cemetery.  Rosary will be recited at
  8:30 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home by Light of Christ Council 9109, K.
  of C., followed by vigil service.
