JACOB N. BEECH

  Jacob N. Beech, 76, of Berlin, died Friday, Jan. 16, after a short illness.  
He was born in Somerset County April 28, 1871, a son of Mr. and Mrs. George 
Beech.  His wife preceded him in death.
  He is survived by the following children: Harry J. Beech and Mrs. Edward Zorn, 
Berlin and Clarence M. Beech, Waterman; these brothers and sisters: August 
Beech, Listie; Wm. J. Beech, Monrovia, Calif.; Mrs. James Lohr, Somerset and 
Mrs. Elizabeth Watkins, Chicago, Ill.
  He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Berlin; Knights of Pythias, and 
United Mine Workers.  
  Funeral services were held Monday at 2:00 p.m., at Johnson's Funeral Home, 
with Rev. Robert S. Nagle officiating.
  Interment in the Berlin Odd Fellows Cemetery.
