  BEECHAN, Anna (Sekera) 08/26/06 Daily American  
  
  Anna (Sekera) Beechan, 89, Mine 40, Scalp Level Borough, went to be with
  the Lord Aug. 24, 2006, at home. Born March 20, 1917, in Portage. A daughter
  of Vasil and Katherine (Seger) Sekera. Preceded in death by parents; husband
  John "Hack" Beechan; brothers, Mike "Sheck," Charlie, Pete, Nicky, John
  "Pud" and George Sekera; sisters Jane Schonman and Mary Sekera. Survived by
  son John Beechan with whom Anna resided. Also, two sisters, Helen Beechan,
  who resided with Anna; and Evelyn, wife of John Skowronski, N.Y.; and
  sister-in-law Mary Sekera, Colo. Anna is also survived by nephew George 
  Sekera and wife Georgette, of Windber, and numerous other nieces and nephews.
  Anna was an employee of the former  Ripples Drive-in Restaurant of  Richland
  with over 17 years of  service. Member of SS. Peter  and Paul Orthodox
  Church,  Windber. Friends received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday 
  at the William Kisiel Funeral Home, Windber, where Panachida Service will
  be held at 7:30 p.m. Friends will also be received from 12 p.m. Monday until
  time of brief service at 12:30 p.m. at the funeral home, followed by Burial
  Service at 1 p.m. at SS. Peter and Paul Orthodox Church, Windber, The Very 
  Rev. Protopresbyter David J. Smoley officiating. Interment, Richland 
  Cemetery.
