Funeral of Mrs. Asa Beeghley

  Mrs. Asa Beeghley, a resident of Cumberland and a former resident of Accident, 
died at the Allegheny Hospital at Cumberland, on Thursday, August 7th, at the 
age of 47 years and 3 months.  Mrs. Beeghley had been ill only several days and 
died following an operation.  She is survived by her husband, two sons, Park and 
Aubrey, and one daughter, Kathryn, all of Cumberland; two grandchildren, six 
brothers, who were pall-bearers at her funeral, and two sisters, Mrs. Adam 
Hetrick of Morgantown, W.Va., and Mrs. Irvin Shaffer, of Cass, W.Va.  She is 
also survived by a large number of other relatives.  Nieces of the deceased were 
the flower-bearers.  The floral tributes were beautiful.  Funeral services were 
conducted in St. Paul's Lutheran Church at Accident, Sunday forenoon, by Rev. L. 
K. Young of Gettysburg, Pa., her former pastor, interment in the Accident 
Cemetery.
