Beeghly, 64, 807 Main St., Berlin, died Feb. 20, 1985, at Lee Hospital, Johnstown. Born Jan. 7, 1921, in Somerset Township, son of Noah and Fannie (Eash) Beeghly. Preceded in death by his parents; his wife, the former Mary Custer, who died in 1975; and a son, Larry, who died in 1961. Survived by these daughters: Mrs. Edward (Shirley) Landis, Berlin RD 3 (Macdonaldton); and Mrs. Robert (Lois) Boburchock, Berlin; and five grandsons. He was a brother of: Wilbert G. and Mrs. Robert (Erma) Putman, both of Listie; Mrs. Mildred Willis, Geneva, Ohio; and Mrs. Walter (Florence) Lafferty, Friedens RD 1. He was an Army veteran of World War II and was employed by the Borough of Berlin for the past 20 years. Member of Trinity United Church of Christ, the Harry Fisher Post 445 American Legion, Berlin Veteran's Home Association, and the Berlin Volunteer Fire Department. Friends were received from 7-9 p.m. Thursday and will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at the Johnson-Kuhman Funeral Home, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday with the Rev. Carl W. Schwarm officiating. Interment, St. Paul's Ridge Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory to the Trinity United Church of Christ Memorial Fund or the American Cancer Society Somerset County Unit, Somerset, Pa., would be appreciated. Berlin Volunteer Fire Department will hold a memorial service Friday at 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Daily American, February 22, 1985 [B0936]
