Born July 16, 1930, in Acosta, a son of Elmer Francis and Jennie Mae (Hoover) Beeman. Preceded in death by parents; two infant sons, Earl and Ronald Beeman; brothers, George and Ronald Beeman; sisters, Margaret Garlitz, Helen Kern and Ruby Harden. Survived by wife, the former Stella Mae Pletcher to whom he was married 55 years; children: Mrs. Edgal "Lee" (Constance "Connie") Sheetz, Friedens; John A. Beeman, married to the former Loretta Burkett, Somerset; Mrs. Pete (Brenda L.) Berkey, Somerset; Raymond K. Beeman, married to the former Deborah Suchian, Somerset; Mrs. Alan (Cheryl L.) Bennett, Somerset; and Shawn R. Beeman, married to the former Amy Klink, Somerset; 12 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Brother of Mrs. Ernest (Minnie) Whited, Spangler; Mrs. Cloyd (Wanita) Horrell, Derry; Mrs. Catherine Bittinger, Meyersdale; and half sister, Mrs. Harold (Linda) Frantz, Chestnut Ridge. Member of First United Methodist Church. Worked from 1948-1960 as a coal miner for Eastern Gas and Fuel. Then worked from 1960-1996 for the former Briggs Industries where he retired as a foreman with 36 years of service. Also member of American Legion Post 445 of Berlin. Friends received 2 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, Somerset where service will be conducted 10 a.m. Thursday. The Rev. Patricia M. Nelson officiating. Interment Mt.
