  WILLIAM J. BEEMAN
  
    William J. Beeman, 57, Listie, died in his residence June 17, 1979.  Born
  Jan. 29, 1922, in Jennings, Md., he was a son of the late William and Laura
  (Bittinger) Beeman.
    He was preceded in death by a son and two sisters.
    He is survived by his wife, the former Emma Rhoads; four children: Mrs.
  Glenn (Betty Jane) Wagner, Stoystown RD 2; Mrs. James (Mary Ann) Long,
  Berlin RD 4; William, Rockwood RD 3; David, Somerset; and 10
  grandchildren.  He was a brother of Mrs. Rosie Sarver, Markelton; Elmer,
  Berlin RD 4; Mrs. Martha Gelpi, Mrs. Betty Sellers, and Ray, all of
  Somerset; Columbus, Somerset, RD 5.
    He was a member of Listie Brethren Church.
    Friends were received at the Wilbur D. Miller Funeral Home, where funeral
  services were conducted with the Rev. Gerald Deffenbaugh officiating. 
  Interment, Brotherton Cemetery.
