  BEENER
  
  Edward E. Beener, 72, Rockwood RD 3, died Jan. 29, 1988, at Somerset
  Community Hospital.  Born Dec. 25, 1915, in Milford Township, son of the
  late Adam and Anna Bertha (Brugh) Beener.  Also preceded in death by a
  daughter, Ruth.  Survived by wife, the former L. Faye Gardner; and these
  children: Mrs. Louis G. (Ruby) Sredy, Somerset RD 1; C. Edward, George R.,
  Mrs. Timothy E. (Rita) Show, and Mrs. Ernie J. (Kathy) Pyle, all of
  Rockwood RD 3; and Mrs. Cenneth F. (Dorothy) Younkin, Rockwood RD 2;
  step-children: Bruce E. Barron, Somerset RD 6; and Mrs. James (Robin)
  Groff, New Carrollton, Md.; and 12 grandchildren.  Brother of Mrs. Edna
  Blottenberger of Harrisburg.  Former owner of Beener Coal Company.  Member
  of Rockwood Church of the Brethren.  Friends received 2-9 p.m. Saturday at
  the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home.  Funeral service 2 p.m. Sunday at Rockwood
  Church of the Brethren, with the Rev. Jay Christner and the Rev. Scott
  Cooper officiating.  Interment, Union-New Centerville Cemetery.  Body will
  lie in state at the church from 1 p.m. until time of service.  Family
  suggests contributions to Rockwood Church of the Brethren.
