  Robert C. Begley, 70, Boswell RD 1, died Nov. 30, 1974, Mercy Hospital in
  Johnstown.  Born March 21, 1904 in Johnstown, a son of Robert C. and Millie
  (Griffith) Begley, Sr.  Preceded in death by parents.  Survived by widow,
  the former Verda Yoder and these children: Wanda, widow of Karl Fterner,
  Norwalk, Calif.; Gloria, wife of John Winters and David, married to the
  former Betty Burnelle, both of Boswell RD 1; Doris, wife of Kenneth
  Griffith, McMurray, Pa.; Milly, wife of Eugene Speiker, Mt. Joy, Pa.;
  Catherine, wife of Marlin Knisley and Roberta, wife of Bernard Gowarty,
  both of Boswell; James, married to Christine Coffman, Thousand Oaks,
  Calif.; Deborah, wife of Ernest Halgas, of Monessen, Pa.; 17 grandchildren
  and 2 great-grandchildren; brother of Mary, wife of Owen Horner of Boswell;
  and a half brother, William Wechtenhiser, Harrington, Delaware.  Retired
  coal miner, member of Jenners Local 1742 UMWA, Jenner Community Sportsmen,
  was a long time member of Hopewell Methodist Church where he was the
  present treasurer of the church and Sunday school.  Friends were received
  Sunday evening and will be received Monday at the Joseph H. Hoffman Funeral
  Home, 227 Allegheny St. Boswell, where service will be held at 2 p.m.
  Tuesday with Rev. Walter C. Krause.  Interment St. James Cemetery.  Family
  requests flowers be omitted and memorial sent to Hopewell Methodist Church.
