  BEGLEY
  
  Verda M. (Yoder) Begley, 94, formerly of Boswell RD (Pilltown), died
  peacefully in her sleep April 13, 2002 at Arbutus Park Manor, Richland
  Township.  Born May 15, 1907 in Jenner Township, daughter of Joseph and
  Gertrude (Sowerbrower) Yoder.  Preceded in death by parents, husband Robert
  C., Nov. 30, 1974, daughter Deborah Halgas, grandson Russell Spiker,
  great-granddaughter Kayla Albright, sister Bessie Yoder and brothers
  Richard, Joseph and Robert. Survived by these children: Wanda Sterner,
  Norwalk, Calif., Gloria, married to John "Jack" Winters, Pilltown, Doris,
  married to Kenneth Griffith, McMurray, Milly, married to Eugene Spiker, Mt.
  Joy, Catherine "Kay," married to Marlin Knisley, Pilltown, Roberta "Bucky,"
  married to Bernard Gowarty, Boswell, James, married to Chris Kallman,
  Clovis, Calif., David, married to Betty Brunelle, Boswell RD; 19
  grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. 
  Sister of Sara Ash, Westmont, Edna Yoder, Pittsburgh and Donald Yoder,
  Pilltown.  Member of Hopewell United Methodist Church, Hollsopple RD. 
  Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Hoffman Funeral
  Home, Main Street, Boswell, where service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday,
  Rev. Wilma G. Horner officiating.  Interment, St. James Cemetery, Jenner
  Township.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be given Hopewell U.M. 151
  Hopewell Road, Hollsopple 15935.
