Born Jan. 12, 1935, in Bellville, Pa., he was a son of Jonas Beiler of Grantsville and the late Mary (Yoder) Beiler. He moved to Grantsville at age seven with his parents. On April 12, 1961, he married Mabel Yoder, the daughter of Soll and Anna (Troyer) Yoder, who survives. In addition to his wife and father, Mr. Beiler is survived by his stepmother, Thelma (Schrock) Beiler, Grantsville; four children: John David Beiler, Harrisonburg, Va.; Mary Frances Heiser, Fisher, Ill.; Lamar Dale Beiler, Grantsville; and Charles David Beiler, Salisbury. He is also survived by a sister, Martha Byler of South Bend, Ind., and eight grandchildren. Mr. Beiler was the owner of Laurel Run Farm Supply Co. A member of the Glade Mennonite Church, he served on a variety of committees and was a Sunday School teacher, a past elder and a board chairman. Friends were received at Newman Funeral Home, Grantsville, on June 28. Services were held June 29 at Springs Mennonite Church, with the Rev. Alan Kauffman officiating. Interment, Springs Cemetery.
