  JONAS DAVID BEILER
  September 19, 1912 - November 27, 2003
  
    Jonas David Beiler, 91 of Grantsville, Md., died Thursday, November 27,
  2003, at his residence.
    Born September 19, 1912, in Crystal City, Texas, he was the son of the
  late John and Mattie (Byler) Beiler.
    He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary (Yoder) Beiler, April 1,
  1975; one son, David Beiler; several infants; three brothers: Clarence,
  Melvin, Joseph; and four sisters: Elizabeth Colflesh, Verna Beiler, Lydia
  Beiler and Mary Lou Beiler.
    Mr. Beiler was a member of Cherry Glade Mennonite Church and a retired
  farmer and carpenter.
    Surviving are his wife of 26 years, Thelma (Schrock) Beiler; a daughter,
  Martha Byler, South Bender, Ind.; two stepdaughters: Twila Yoder, London,
  Ohio; and Treva Beal of Grantsville, Md.; Four stepsons: Gary Yoder, Leroy
  Yoder, Dennis Yoder, Wesley Yoder, all of Grantsville; a sister, Edna
  Beiler, Mishawaka, Ind.; seven grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, nine
  great-grandchildren, and one step-great-grandchild.
    Friends were received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday, at the Newman Funeral
  Homes, P.A., Grantsville.  Services were conducted at 10:30 a.m., Monday,
  Dec. 1st, at the Cherry Glade Mennonite Church, Bittinger, Md., with
  Pastors Barry Maust and Daniel Tice officiating.
    Interment will be in Lower Springs Cemetery, Springs.
    Expressions of sympathy may be directed to Cherry Glade Alms Fund or
  Hospice of Garrett County.  Condolences may be sent to the family.
