  MELVIN W. BEILER
  
    Melvin W. Beiler, 66, of RD 2, Grantsville, Maryland, died December 25,
  1983, at his residence.
    Born in Nappanee, Ind., he was a son of the late John Beiler and Martha
  (Byler) Beiler.
    He was employed as a construction foreman for the George Construction
  Company, Cumberland.  He was an ordained Mennonite minister, serving from
  1957 until March, 1983, and was a member of Red Run Mennonite Church.
    Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Ruth (Beachy) Beiler; two sons, Ronald
  Beiler, Accident, Maryland; Larry Beiler, Grantsville; four daughters, Mrs.
  Lucy Bender, Virginia Beach, Va.; Mrs. Judy Mayhill, Tulsa, Okla.; Mrs. Ruth
  Anne Yoder, State College; Mrs. Daisy Townsend, Sandy Lake; one brother,
  Jonas Beiler, Grantsville; three sisters, Miss Lydia Beiler, Grantsville;
  the Misses Mary Lou Beiler and Edna Beiler, both of Cumberland; 11
  grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
    Friends were received at the Newman Funeral Home, Grantsville.
    Services were held at the Springs Mennonite Church by the Rev. Earl Yoder
  and the Rev. Edgar Miller.  Interment was in the Springs Cemetery.
