  Marian Ruth Beistel, 53, Somerset RD 7, died Dec. 28, 1985, at Somerset
  Community Hospital.  Born March 6, 1932, in Lincoln Township, daughter of
  Clark W. and Ruth (Swank) Hoffman.  Survived by parents, Somerset RD 3;
  husband, William G.; son, Thomas, Friedens RD 2; and these brothers and
  sisters:  Mrs. Clair (Jean Coley, Chardon, Ohio; George W., Somerset RD 3;
  Clark Jr., Chardon, Ohio; William R., Sipesville; Judy Stanton, Somerset;
  Joan Miller, Somerset; and Cheryl Shaulis, Pittsburgh.  Member of St.
  John's United Methodist Church, Edie.  Friends received from 2-4 and 7-9
  p.m. Monday at Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home.  Service at 10 a.m. Tuesday
  at St. John's United Methodist Church, the Rev. Donald E. Krestar
  officiating.  Interment, Edie Cemetery.  Body will lie in state at church
  from 9 a.m. Tuesday until time of service.
